Ruth Circle Jewelry Sales

About Us

The Ruth Circle began as a ministry of Eastminster Presbyterian Church in Grand Rapids when a small group of women decided to clean out their closets and host a jewelry sale to raise money for kids in their community. Over the course of more than ten years, this ministry grew into a massive effort, and raised more than $76,000 for Kids Food Basket and other ministries!

In 2023, Eastminster closed, and they sought out another group to carry on their legacy. Enter Parkwood! In honor of the love and ministry of the women who came before them, this new group chose to keep the name Ruth Circle.

How It Works

Jewelry donations are collected year-round, and may be dropped off at Parkwood Presbyterian Church on Sundays or during office hours, or at one of our jeweler partners (listed below). The Ruth Circle gathers monthly to clean, sort, and price these donations, and prepare for jewelry sales.

Donations can be dropped off at:
Dekker’s Jewelry (124 E Main Ave, Zeeland, MI 49464)
Vandenberg Jewelers (6779 Cascade Rd SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546)
Engels Jewelry Company (2883 Wilson Ave SW, Grandville, MI 49418)

Twice per year, we host a jewelry sale with thousands of pieces! All proceeds from these sales go to Kids’ Food Basket, a nonprofit that works across four counties in West Michigan to ensure every child has access to nutritious and delicious food every day. (You can learn more about KFB here!)
